WELCOME NEW STUDENTS

Step 1- Click on the link below and submit the online form (one for each student)-

Important! The link below is for the 2024-2025 school year only. Call Centralized Registration if you have a student who needs to enroll for this school year- last day to enroll May 17, 2024.

New Students for the 2024-2025 School Year- Online Registration Form

Step 2- Visit Centralized Registration to bring enrolling documents (see list below), sign forms, and complete the process.

Central Registration Summer Hours and Appointment Calendar Coming Soon! Step 1 (online form) will be open and may be completed at any time until the office reopens. 

Due to limited office space, we ask for only the enrolling parent to finish the process. Registrations take up to 24 hours to process once all required documents are received

Required enrolling documents:
 
Important- Previous schools send academic records (grades/attendance) to your child's new school and not to Central Registration. Enrolling documents (listed below) are not academic records and will need to be brought with you to our office to complete registration. 
 
1. Certified copy of birth certificate (If you do not have a copy- check with your birth state's vital record office or order online). Enrolling parent's name must be on birth certificate or other custodial paperwork will be required.
 
2. Student Social Security Card or Signed Waiver (waivers available in our office)
 
3. *Proof of residency- Current power or water bill in the enrolling parent's name that verifies a service is provided to the 911 address given. A signed lease is accepted only if it specifies in the terms that all utilities will remain in the owner's name. If you pay for all utility services online, please print and bring a recent statement with you to registration. 
 

*If you do not have proof of current residency in your name, you must complete the affidavit of residency form with notarized signatures AND attach a current utility bill in the owner/leasor name listed on the affidavit.

 

Regular mail is not accepted as proof of residency, it must be a utility bill that verifies a service (power/water/natural gas) is provided to a Habersham residence.

 
4. Completed Georgia Immunization Form** [Form 3231 to be provided by your physician or health department]
 
Immunizations must be on a Georgia form prior to enrollment. Only a physician's office and/or the health department can assist with transferring immunizations to a Georgia form. 
 
5. Completed Georgia Certificate of Eye, Ear, Dental, Nutrition Examinations Form [Form 3300- Click here for the form to be completed by your physician or health department]
 
6. Driver's license/photo ID of enrolling parent/guardian

Returning Students: Students who have been withdrawn from Habersham County Schools or who leave the United States must also register as a new student.
